Today i had to go back through an old diary from 2024 which had the first mentions of Be Blunt, made me reflect on what we have done so far and our mission.
From our first drawings of round tipped knives, research on how they would work best and more prototypes than i care to mention! So much time spent with professional chefs getting their feedback, but it was important that we got it right.
It took 2 years to our "launch" our first round tipped knife ranges in February 2026.
Really proud of the product, and of the principals and values we have been able to adhere to.
-Our company will only sell round tipped knives
-The Steel we use is made from more than 97% recycled materials and is 100% recyclable in the future.
-Our Steel producers have 75% lower carbon footprint than industry average along with Zero gender pay gap.
-Our Rosewood handle comes from sustainably sourced wood from Zambia.
-Be Blunt make a charitable contribution for each knife set sold.
-Be Blunt Limited is a UK company and will pay tax in the UK.
