I had a really interesting meeting with Sir Iain Duncan Smith about knife crime, prevention and the role that safer product design can play.
I was particularly impressed by his knowledge of the knife crime statistics and the wider issues surrounding the subject. It made for a genuinely informed and worthwhile discussion.
We spoke about the thinking behind Be Blunt and our belief that kitchen knives should be designed first and foremost for their intended purpose: preparing food.
